BEAUTY x WONDER - 28/01/06 - chez moi à N'Géa / Home

Beauty a mis bas "ma" première portée chez moi à N'Géa le 28 janvier 2006 après 61 jours de gestation : 4 femelles et 4 mâles, mais tragiquement 2 mâles sont mort-nés puis un troisième apparemment mort étouffé sous le poids de sa mère à l'âge 2 semaines ! Les deux parents s'en sont occupés : Beauty les nourrissant, les nettoyant, n'hésitant pas à se coucher sur eux pour leur apprendre à se pousser afin de ne pas se faire écraser (méthode franchement dangereuse pour les plus faibles mais faisant office de sélection naturelle), Wonder jouant avec eux, leur apprenant la hiérarchie en leur faisant comprendre qu'il y a des limites à ne pas dépasser ! Ils ont été habitués à tous les bruits ménagés, à ceux des travaux aussi et au passage de plusieurs personnes étrangères, dont des enfants. Les chats de la maison se sont aussi chargés de leur éducation, leur faisant comprendre qu'ils n'appréciaient guère d'être coursés ! Ils ont tous été vermifugés, primo-vaccinés, tatoués et inscrits au LOF en attendant leur confirmation à 1 an pour recevoir leur Pedigree officiel, ce qui est désormais chose faite : tous les 5 ont bien été confirmés à l'âge de 15 mois.

Beauty gave birth to "my" first litter at home at N'Gea on the 28th of january 2006 after 61 days of pregnancy : 4 girls and 4 boys, sadly 2 boys were still born and a third died at the age of 2 weeks apparently stuck under his mother's weight ! Both the parents raised them : Beauty feeding them, cleaning them, lying down on them to teach to move away not to get stuck under (method quite dangerous for the weakest but acting like a natural selection), Wonder playing with them, teaching them the hierarchy by showing them not to overpass the limits ! They have been used to all the house noises, the building noises as well, and to the visits of several strangers including children. The cats of the house too have participated to their education, teaching them that they do not appreciate to be run after ! They have all been wormed, vaccinated, tatooed and recorded to the L.O.F. (French Canine Council) waiting for their confirmation at 1 year-old to receive their official Pedigree, which is now done : they've all 5 been confirmed at 15 month-old.
